October

I would have to say the highlights of October were Thanksgiving and Halloween. Thanksgiving this year was spent at my uncle Calvin's and aunt Barb's home. I'm still not sure why we bombed going back to Victoria to see our family's for this occasion, but I'm glad we did, no offense to our wonderful family's. We had a great time at Calvin and Barb's. He really worked up a sweat to get the turkey on the table for us really he did. While Calvin cooked the dinner Barb took William outside to go exploring. We forgot to bring his jacket that day so Barb put one of her sweaters on him so he could go outside. Apparently everyone was giggling and pointing at William and saying how cute he was. But I'll let you decide. Thanks so much Calvin and Barb for making our thanksgiving a special one, and for putting in all that hard work for a wonderful dinner.

We went home this year for Halloween. We couldn't wait to visit our families and attend the annual Rann's family Halloween Bash, including pumpkin carving contest, bonfire, fire works and lets not forget the amazing hotdog's and junk food. Oh yes and the eating of the famous Aunt Lee's chili mm mm good, thanks to grandma Keyes.
Glenn placed 4th and I placed 6th this year in the pumpkin carving contest. I made the strawberry and Glenn made some sort of warrior not sure what he calls it.

You may be thinking what about Will's Halloween, well let me reassure you he had a good time at Grandma Orth's playing with his new Mack truck and dressing up in his new Lighting McQueen PJ's. Yes we skipped the trick or treating this year for Glenn and Jackie fun. But Grandpa did get William a costume. We dressed him in it and he lasted about 5min before ripping the dinosaur costume off. Thanks Grandpa for the cool costume! And thanks to all for making Halloween Spooktacular!
